Thoughts of my Dr. Martens boots have been wafting in and out of my head recently. Instead of my usual Puma sneakers, I thought I could pair my casual get-up of polo-tee and shorts with the Dr. Martens boots and black ankle socks. Surely I can rock out the weekend like a rocker chick?Somewhere somehow I knew I had a pair when I was a young kid. But it wasn't my day; The Mother had disposed the old shoes years ago. So I spent the next 2 hours at the Dr. Martens website, drooling over what could be my mode du jour for this coming Friday's TGIF! mood.
20-eye boot in blackIt's really inflation's doing that what used to be a fairly affordable basic Dr. Martens' boots, is now a luxury item. (i.e. screaming out 'expensive!') So maybe it's a good thing that there's no Dr. Martens stores in Singapore, otherwise I'd be so tempted to deplete my pocket for a pair.

Really? At Peninsular? That's very cool. Very possible too. Cheers!
There're a couple of DM boutiques in SG, try Marine Square. But I always order my docs from their US store, shipping kills my pockets, but at least they've got newer designs.
